Sea kayaking, snorkeling, horse back riding, paragliding/sailing, bird/whale watching, waterfall hikes, and good old fashioned beach lounging are just some of the things you can do right here in yelapa.
The Banderas bay if full of wonderful fish to eat. We work with the best and most reliable guides in town. They will provide fishing gear, prepare ceviche, and often even have a bottle of the local moonshine, Raicilla, to share.
When you get back to shore you can cook up the fish at Los Sueños, or we can arrange to have it cooked for you!
A magical place with amazing wildlife. Exploring the arid landscapes, see the nesting place of the rare Blue-footed Booby birds that nest only on Pacific coast islands and the Galapagos islands. Snorkel in the crystal clear waters. Lounge on the fine sand beach while eating fresh caught and made ceviche. See whales, dolphins, tortoises, manta rays, and much more spectacular sea life.
Take a boat ride south down the coast, cruising by tiny towns, stop at completely secluded beaches, see one of the oldest and most important light houses in Mexico, snorkel in pristine waters, and finish your trip lounging at the local restaurant on Corrales beach where you can order the best lobster tacos money can buy (a deal at 25 pesos a pop!) and a shot of the smoothest moonshine around.
A wonderful and easy day trip from Yelapa. Take a 30 min boat ride and short bus ride to get to the artfully designed gardens. A huge property with many different hikes through beautifully landscaped jungle paths. A river, in which you can take a dip to cool off, flows through the property to the sea. A spectacular orchid green house with rare species. And finally a wonderful restaurant with some of the best service and food in all of Banderas bay. Be sure you schedule enough time to get one of their delicious and creative cocktails while sitting on the veranda overlooking the river valley.
